1. What we collect
- Account data: email address, optional name, Telegram ID
- Subscription data: plan, billing history, payment provider tokens (we never store your card numbers)
- Usage data: which signals you viewed, login timestamps, IP addresses of login events
- Communication: emails and support tickets you send us
2. How we use it
- To deliver signals to the channels you subscribed to
- To authenticate you via magic-link sign-in (tokens expire in 15 minutes)
- To process subscription billing (via payment provider — never stored by us)
- To send service notifications (no marketing unless you opt in)
- To comply with SEBI and statutory record-keeping requirements
3. What we do NOT do
- Sell or rent your personal data to anyone.
- Use your data to train AI models outside of TATVA's internal signal pipeline.
- Track you across third-party sites.
4. Third parties who see your data
- Telegram — if you subscribe to channels (your Telegram ID)
- Payment gateway — for subscription billing (tokens only)
- Anthropic — headlines we ingest for sentiment analysis (no personal data)
- Email service provider — to send magic links (email address only)
- Backblaze B2 / DO Spaces — encrypted database backups
All processors are contractually bound to equivalent privacy standards.
5. Retention
We keep account data while your account is active, plus 2 years after closure (for statutory and tax record-keeping). You may request earlier deletion — see next section.
6. Your rights (DPDP Act 2023)
- Access: request a copy of your data
- Correction: fix inaccurate data
- Erasure: delete your account (subject to statutory retention)
- Portability: export your data in JSON
- Withdraw consent: stop optional processing

7. Security
HTTPS-only transport, encrypted database at rest, nightly encrypted off-site backups, hashed session tokens, appended-only audit chain for all signal and trade events. No system is fully secure; in the unlikely event of a breach we notify affected users within 72 hours.
